Red Magic is once again ready to make waves in the gaming smartphone market with the upcoming launch of its latest flagship, the Red Magic 10 Air. Set to debut on April 16 in China, the device has already captured attention through a series of leaks and certifications. Recent listings, including details from China’s TENAA database, along with officially released images, have provided a comprehensive look at what this new gaming phone will offer. Known for pushing boundaries in gaming hardware, Red Magic appears to continue that trend with this release, focusing on performance, design, and thermal management. With features like an under-display camera, advanced cooling, and powerful internal specs, the Red Magic 10 Air seems to strike a balance between raw power and futuristic design. It is expected to be a refined alternative to the Red Magic 9 Pro, offering many of the same high-end features in a slightly more compact and efficient form. As anticipation builds, gamers and tech enthusiasts alike are eager to see what this new model delivers when it officially launches.

Design and Color Options

The Red Magic 10 Air will come in three stylish colors: Frost Blade White, Shadow Black, and Flame Orange. The phone features a true full-screen display with an under-display front camera, removing any notches or punch holes. There are also shoulder trigger buttons for gaming and a built-in centrifugal fan that keeps the phone cool during intense gameplay.

Detailed Specifications

According to the leaked specifications, the smartphone’s dimensions are 164.3 x 76.6 x 7.85mm, and it weighs 205g. It has a 6.8-inch OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution (2480 x 1116) and supports an under-display fingerprint sensor. Camera-wise, it includes a 16MP front camera and two 50MP rear cameras.

Inside, the Red Magic 10 Air is powered by a 3.3GHz octa-core processor, which is expected to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It may offer RAM options of 12GB, 16GB, and 24GB, along with storage variants of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. The battery is listed at 5,860mAh, likely to be marketed as 6,000mAh typical capacity. The phone also includes an IR blaster and will support 80W fast charging, as confirmed by China’s 3C certification.

A Refined Version of Red Magic 9 Pro?

The Red Magic 10 Air appears to be a slightly toned-down variant of the Red Magic 9 Pro, which launched in late 2023 with a bigger 6,500mAh battery. Despite the minor battery size difference, the new model brings in several enhancements, especially in design and thermal management. It aims to deliver smooth, high-performance gaming with a sleeker body and better screen-to-body ratio.
